New Ministry Emerging

The Premier made an announcement regarding new members of her team this afternoon.

Portfolio Announcements

• Steven Miles, Deputy Premier, Minister for State Development, Local Government, Infrastructure and Planning

• Cameron Dick, Treasurer and Minister for Investment;

• Yvette D’Ath, Minister for Health and Ambulance Services and Leader of the House

New Ministers

• Meaghan Scanlon (Gaven), Leanne Linard (Nudgee) and Scott Stewart (Townsville)

• The rest of ministry will be announced tomorrow and will be sworn in on Thursday

Other Matters

• Parliament will resume in the last week of November

• The State Budget will be released in the first week of December

• Budget Estimates will be conducted prior to Christmas
